Some elements of the bench (back support, rear legs) are cut at an angle of 10-15 degrees. Also, at the back rests, corners of the table and armrests, you need to cut off the outer sharp corners.

Cut all the elements that make up the bench to size, sand them with abrasive sandpaper to remove splinters and begin assembling.

Below is an isometric drawing of the base of the bench with dimensions. The dimensions are approximate in millimeters, they can be changed in any direction. Select the height of the backrest to suit your taste; in my model it is comfortable and is 520 mm.

Bench assembly

For those who haven’t watched the video (at the bottom of the page), I’ll briefly tell you the DIY assembly process.

The first step is to assemble the two sides of the bench and fasten them together with two cross bars. In the photo, the front beam is 150*40 mm in size, if you don’t have this in stock, then it’s okay, use the same 100*40 beam, just make a 100 mm cut for it in the front legs (as in the diagram above).

Next, we install the transverse reinforcements and attach them to the front beam at the end. On the back beam of the bench, these amplifiers are fixed with a self-tapping screw at an angle.

The next step is to install the bench back supports, after which you can fill the boards on the seat and back.

To facilitate the design or save material, the seat and back, as well as the surface of the table, can be covered with an inch board.

Now, it's time to install a table on the bench. Install the front and rear table supports.

We fill the frames of the table base with boards.

Now we nail the armrests and the bench with the table is almost ready.

All that remains is to cover the holes with the heads of the screws with wood putty and cover the bench with the table with a bioprotective compound to protect it from the sun and precipitation.
