Recommended household cleaning products for upholstered furniture:

  • paste of vinegar essence (150 ml), soda (1 tbsp), warm water (0.5 l);
  • a solution of a spoon of vinegar in 1 liter of water;
  • a solution of 0.5 liters of water, 150 ml of vinegar, washing powder (1 tbsp);
  • 10 drops of ammonia mixed with a soap solution;
  • a light solution of hydrogen peroxide with water;
  • concentrated slurry of laundry soap;
  • citric acid, diluted in a ratio of 1:10 with water.

These compounds are applied to the contaminated area, rubbed in with a soft brush, and then removed with a vacuum cleaner after a while. If the latter is not available, use a sponge and a regular damp cloth.

Hydrogen peroxide can only be used for light-colored fabrics, and iodine or potassium permanganate for dark ones.
