The large size of modern technology allows it to be used not only for an interesting pastime, but also as a full-fledged element of the interior. One of the most popular items of this kind is the TV. To make it look harmonious in the space of the room, you need to choose a suitable stand for it. In such cases, a hanging TV stand would be a good option. We will talk about its features further in the article.

Pros and distinctive features of a hanging TV stand

Pros and distinctive features of a hanging TV stand

Today, hanging TV stands are often installed in apartments. This design brings airiness to the space and makes it visually larger. The cabinet is attached directly to the wall, leaving free space underneath.

When making hanging stands, in most cases the lightest materials are used, but in general any materials can be used. Compactness and sleek design in this design are combined with functionality thanks to compartments for storing various items and shelves for equipment.

Having a hanging TV stand has a lot of advantages:

  • this piece of furniture looks great in a duet with the flat screen of a modern TV, giving a fashionable accent to the space;
  • dust does not accumulate under the cabinet, which greatly simplifies cleaning;
  • space is used with maximum efficiency;
  • acts both as a hanging TV stand and as a storage system.

Wall-mounted TV stand

The TV does not have to be on the top of the hanging stand. It is preferable to hang a flat screen above the structure using special brackets. The only disadvantage of this option is that the wires are visible. But everything is compensated by the stylish appearance of the resulting tandem.

If desired, craftsmen can decorate the cable with any elements, which will further decorate the interior. But in most cases, hidden wiring is carried out, or the cable is covered with wall cabinets and shelves.

The frame of the hanging TV stand consists of the following parts:

  • upper horizon;
  • two panels located on the side;
  • the wall located behind;
  • bottoms

The form could be:

  • square;
  • rectangular;
  • angular.

Hanging cabinets curved in the form of a curved line or semicircle can be seen less frequently. In most cases, manufacturers experiment with levels and layers.

The stand may include several parts, each of which will overlap the other, ultimately creating various combinations that make the decor original and stylish. If none of the options presented in the store appeal to you, you can always place an order for a hanging structure based on your own sketch in any style, with the required number of compartments.

Long hanging TV stand: placement nuances

Long hanging TV stand: placement nuances

Today, probably, every apartment has a TV, or even more than one. Modern models, in comparison with previous picture tubes, are small in thickness, but at the same time it is not easy to place them correctly in an apartment. The height of the hanging TV stand should be such that the screen located on it is at an acceptable distance from the viewer, otherwise your eyesight may be damaged. You also need to take into account that even the flattest TVs still weigh a lot, so they require a solid base. Finally, from a design point of view, a fairly large rectangular screen should be visually “balanced” by some element of the interior. And the hanging cabinet copes with this task quite successfully.

In accordance with consumer demand, various types of hanging stands for video equipment are produced. For small apartments, corner options that take up little space are well suited. If the equipment is small in size, it will look good on round or square bedside tables. But still, long and low hanging TV stands made in a modern style look most advantageous. Compact, narrow, they have a number of the following advantages:

  • enable the most efficient use of space;
  • are durable and wear-resistant;
  • equipped with storage drawers built into the sides;
  • the shape of hanging products allows you to make the room visually larger;
  • the range includes models in a wide range of colors and made from various materials;
  • The free space under the cabinet can be used at your discretion.

Long hanging TV stand

Long hanging TV stands will suit almost any living room. If the room is very small, then a two-meter structure may seem too cumbersome, but even in this case you can find a way out by ordering, for example, a model made of glass or without drawers. A combination with a TV will always look good if its edges do not protrude beyond the stand.

Long hanging structures can be included in the furniture ensemble by adding shelves, racks, pencil cases on the sides, and installing hanging cabinets on top. If desired, you can place books, decorative items, and the like directly on the surface of the cabinet. It must have sufficient strength and stability to withstand the weight and dimensions of the television equipment.

Placement nuances

The location of the TV chest depends on the type of room. In living rooms or halls in a modern style, it is often placed directly opposite the sofa. In this case, it is advisable that the furniture is not located near the window, since the sun's rays can negatively affect the quality of the image on the TV.

For the bedroom, the most successful solution is to install a chest of drawers with a TV opposite the bed. With this arrangement, you can use the TV and change channels without leaving your seat. In addition to media accessories, the drawers are convenient for storing underwear and other small accessories.

The location of the chest of drawers in the dining room depends on the characteristics of the room. The main condition is that the TV screen is clearly visible when cooking and at the table. As for children's rooms, chests of drawers are practically not installed in them. Such an attribute will be unnecessary and will only take up free space. For a child, the best option is to place a small TV directly on the computer desk.

Dimensions of hanging TV stands

Dimensions of hanging TV stands

The size of a hanging bedside table directly depends on its shape.

  • Wide. The most frequently used location is the “blank” key wall of the room (in most cases, the living room). The width of the model is 1.2 meters and above (can reach 3 m). At the same time, the height and depth of the product are quite small – they do not exceed 45–55 cm.
  • Narrow. Such suspended structures are not used as a basis, most often acting as part of a set. The height of the models reaches 1 m, width – 30–35 cm.
  • High. On average, with a depth of 45 cm, such a hanging model has a width of 80 cm. Even if the latter indicator changes, it will never be less than the height. The best value is double the height.

When planning to install a hanging stand in the bedroom, you must take into account that not all models are suitable for this room due to their large sizes. In addition, watching TV while lying down is harmful to your health - it spoils your posture and vision. If you still really want to complement the interior of your bedroom with a similar piece of furniture, you should at least purchase a special orthopedic pillow.

What are hanging TV stands made of?

The same materials are used in the production of hanging TV stands as in the production of other types of furniture, so you can easily choose a model that will easily fit into the interior. Those presented in the economy price segment will be available for purchase to almost any buyer. Expensive products will decorate a luxurious luxury home. Not only the appearance, but also the environmental friendliness and wear resistance of the cabinet depends on the selected material.

Natural wood is always in demand due to its natural appearance and safety. In the right setting, it looks very expensive and elegant. In most cases, this material is used in the manufacture of classical-style hanging cabinets or custom-made pieces decorated with hand-carved wood. Modern production capabilities provide alternatives to natural wood.

Natural wood

Most often, consumers opt for furniture made of chipboard or MDF coated with synthetic film or veneer. There is, albeit a thin, layer of natural wood, which gives the furniture a solid, expensive look. The laminated coating is characterized by good strength, does not require special care, and its cost is lower than that of veneer. Such a surface can imitate natural materials, be of different textures - smooth or textured, and is available in a wide range of colors.

Melamine coating is the most environmentally friendly. It is applied not only to the main surface, but is also used as an edge for the ends of the boards, which gives the appearance of the hanging cabinet a finished look and prevents the release of toxic substances contained in the chipboard. Of course, the properties of such materials are still incomparable with the qualities of natural wood.

To create a modern space design, glass, metal, and plastic suspended structures are used. These materials can be combined, allowing the designer's imagination to express itself to the maximum in a variety of combinations. To ensure the strength and safety of products, only tempered glass is used. The material does not lose its decorative properties and can be:

  • tinted;
  • transparent;
  • with textures applied to the surface;
  • matte.

Combining glass with wood, plastic or chromed metal creates very impressive combinations. When choosing a long hanging TV stand, you need to pay attention not only to the main material, but also to the quality of the fittings and the reliability of the connections. It is important that the fastenings within the structure are well fixed, and that the movement of the retractable elements remains smooth - sliding along the guides, they should not touch other parts. Chips and peeling edges are unacceptable on the surface and ends.

Manufacturing materials

Modern models of TV furniture differ in appearance and material. The performance properties, as well as how long the chest of drawers will last, directly depend on what exactly the frame and facades are made of. Most often, the following raw materials are used for the production of such products:

  1. Chipboard. Budget material with average characteristics. Thanks to a special coating, such slabs look attractive, but are susceptible to moisture and can become deformed from high temperatures. When purchasing a chest of drawers made from chipboard, it is advisable to choose models with drawers that have an additional hard edge about 2 mm thick - such a product is more reliable and less susceptible to damage.
  2. MDF. Compared to the previous material, it is of higher quality and more reliable. Since no toxic substances are used in its production, it is considered environmentally friendly. The plates differ in color; they can be glossy or matte. Carvings or designs are often used for decoration.
  3. Natural array. Wood furniture is rare. Since this material is premium, chests of drawers made from it are often made to order. In production, species such as oak, beech, and alder can be used. Decorative elements are made of glass, metal or stone.

As for the design of doors, the most common decor is glass or mirror. Carvings, three-dimensional elements, complex prints, and hand painting can also serve as decoration. When choosing a product, attention should be paid not only to the appearance, but also to the fittings. It is desirable that the fixing elements are made not of aluminum, but of steel, since this material is more durable and reliable.

Methods for attaching a hanging cabinet to a wall

Methods for attaching a hanging cabinet to a wall

Until recently, it was only possible to secure a large hanging cabinet to the wall using anchor bolts. This, firstly, looked far from aesthetically pleasing, and secondly, reliability in this case depended entirely on how well the partition was laid. Today, for such actions, special canopies are used - 2 plates, movably fastened together. They are designed to hang lower level furniture. The fastening alone in such a device is designed for a load of up to 120 kg.

After installation, you can adjust the placement of the model in height and depth within 2 cm on each side. Additionally, the kit includes a pair of plugs.

Under no circumstances should one canopy be mounted in the center, despite the fact that it can withstand heavy loads. You must use at least 2 pieces, placing them along the edges. The load will be evenly distributed, which will significantly improve the quality of the suspension.

Regardless of the reliability of the fasteners used, the quality of the work ultimately affects the result. The partition should only be load-bearing, otherwise everything may end in problems with neighbors and expensive repairs.

Wall Hanging TV Stand Styles

Today, a wide variety of furniture is on sale; its range, functionality and design make it possible to satisfy even the most demanding customers. Hanging TV stands are no exception - among them you can also find the best option for any interior.

  • Modern style does not accept excesses. Preference is given to universal, laconic designs, especially if the room is small. Such compact furnishings, often a combination of glass and metal, will perfectly complement any fashionable ensemble. Moreover, they will always be combined with the TV itself, the body of which is usually made in high-tech style. Of course, in a lush, richly decorated living room, such furniture will look ridiculous.
  • Wall Hanging TV Stand Styles

  • Wooden stands in a classic style are usually equipped with blind doors decorated with carvings. The furniture is coated with transparent varnish, which emphasizes the beautiful texture and noble shade of the wood. Exquisite patterns and luxurious textures are unlikely to form a harmonious ensemble with modern technology. The way out of the situation is to use a dark glass tabletop, which will smooth out the style inconsistency and combine the objects in a single composition. In a calm, elegant interior, good quality classic hanging stands will look good.
  • To stylistically combine the TV body with luxurious, richly carved models in the Baroque style, the latter are made of natural wood and complemented with acrylic facades. The shiny acrylic surface looks good with a modern TV screen, and the parts of the cabinet, made of solid wood, make it similar to other furniture in the living room.
  • Models in techno and hi-tech styles look organically in a modern, fashionable apartment, appropriately decorated. The combination of sharp corners and smooth lines, the soft shine of metal and plastic makes the interior light and complete. In most cases, such furnishings are not burdened with an excessive number of additional elements. You can often find rather laconic products, the originality of which is achieved due to their unusual shape. Glass is usually used as a tabletop here.
  • A light wood cabinet with unusual metal handles is well suited for a Provence style interior.

Spectacular and multifunctional, long hanging TV stands in the living room make the space modern and add an original touch. They fit well into the furniture ensemble as a whole and create pleasant and comfortable conditions for watching video programs.

What can be equipped with a hanging TV stand?

What can be equipped with a hanging TV stand?

When choosing a hanging TV stand, you first need to think about what things will be placed on it or placed inside it. A conventional storage system involves straight shelves combined with drawers. The answer to the question: will the shelves be open or hidden behind the doors, depends on what is planned to be placed there. In the first case, you can place decorative items, books, vases, etc. on the surface. What will be inside is up to the owner to decide.

The additional equipment of the stand plays a very important role. It could be:

  • Backlight
    . Contributes to the creation of an original design design. Even if initially the hanging TV stand did not come with a backlight, you can always install it yourself.
  • Sockets
    . Most likely, you will also have to install them yourself at the required distance from the TV.
  • Niches for equipment
    . It is advisable that these sections do not have a back wall - for better natural air circulation.
  • Shelf for dishes
    . Such sections look very beautiful with internal lighting.

Large speakers or a subwoofer should not be placed on a suspended wall. Vibrations and vibrations that occur during the operation of such equipment can cause the fasteners to become loose and the stand to fall.

Varieties of narrow TV stand models

Narrow TV stand - types of models, sizes

An important clarification will help you choose a TV stand: the dimensions of the structure do not always determine the permissible load. The symptom of lifting loads is determined not by the indicators, but by the material and workmanship of the furniture. Models of varying heights are designed for equipment of the same weight. Some can accommodate equipment up to 35 kg; individual elements can usually support up to 65 kg.

Narrow TV stand - types of models, sizes

Depending on the height, a narrow TV stand can be:

  • low. Due to its long length, the module capacity will be sufficient. The height of the structure from the floor will be from 30 to 50 cm, which allows you to place a large diagonal TV above it. It is more convenient to watch movies from modern low sofas if the plasma is located, if possible, lower.
  • high. Height: from 65 to 90 cm. In width, such models range from 80 cm to 120 cm, and have a shape close to a square. The TV turns out to be at an impressive distance from the floor, due to this it will not be so comfortable to watch from a low sofa. For a classic interior style, for a cramped room, high bedside tables will be the best option.

Color range of hanging TV stands

Color range of hanging TV stands

A diverse range of materials for the manufacture of narrow hanging TV stands allows the consumer to find a model in almost any color. When choosing, you should focus on the range of shades of the interior of the room as a whole. To choose the right combinations, you can turn to the main principles of visual perception of colors, the laws of interaction between cold and warm tones.

For example, low, light furniture visually makes the space wider (which is very important to consider when arranging a small room) and creates a positive mood. Dark-colored furnishings in combination with light walls look quite strict, respectable, and attract attention. Clear glass will suit any interior (due to its neutrality).

The use of laminated surfaces opens up great possibilities for choosing colors. Laminated chipboards that recreate the shades of natural wood, both standard and exotic species, allow you to achieve amazing results. In this case, the texture of the surface is of no small importance - the more pronounced it is, the greater the effect. They produce laminated chipboards with colored glossy coatings, as well as those imitating metal and mosaics. It is better to choose the color of the material not from photos of hanging TV stands on the Internet, but in a store where you can see the real shade.

Very often, white or black cabinets are used in modern interiors. They are successfully combined with both the dark screen of a switched off TV and the full-color image of a working device. The glass used in such models is colorless, matte black or white. TV stands are rarely multi-colored, since such furniture should not distract viewers from watching.

Variety of materials

Various materials are used to produce the chest of drawers:

  • solid wood;
  • fibreboard or particleboard;
  • plywood;
  • metal.

    wooden cabinet
    wooden cabinet

The chest of drawers on which the TV will stand must have a strong and stable structure. At the same time, the material must be environmentally friendly, aesthetically pleasing and easy to clean.

Solid wood is used for classic furniture. Reliability and durability will allow the products to be in use longer. The hypoallergenic qualities of the material are important when installing furniture in children's rooms.

The upper part of the structure is actively used in chests of drawers. Equipment and interior items are installed on the surface of the furniture. It is very important that there are no scratches on it. The choice of wood type depends on the degree of strength. Oak and beech surfaces are stronger and less susceptible to mechanical damage. The price of such a product will be more expensive.

The wooden surface is additionally processed. You should pay attention to the composition of the varnish used to treat the wood. It must be safe.

The natural texture of wood is an additional decoration of the furniture surface.

It is worth considering that the top panel will be cleaned more often. Dust settles faster on a horizontal structure. The material must be resistant to furniture care products.

MDF and chipboard are also often used to make furniture. Such furniture is significantly more expensive.

The material for facades can be varied. Paneled doors, with shapes that are repeated in the main furniture and interior doors, will emphasize the strict classical atmosphere in the interior. Metal, plastic and glass are suitable for modern styles. Rattan weaving will add coziness to a bedroom or living room. The surface of the chest of drawers can even be decorated with leather or textiles. It all depends on the desires and capabilities of the customer.

Thanks to the use of high-quality innovative materials, a TV stand can become a decoration of the room. The color matches the existing design or highlights the item against the general background. The color range is not limited to natural shades. Designers often use bright furniture in their projects.

Options for opening the facade of a hanging cabinet

Options for opening the facade of a hanging cabinet

The facade is the front side of the stand with doors. Facade opening systems are as follows:

  • Swing
    . A very reliable way to hang a door is when, using furniture movable hinges, the door is attached to the intersection partition or sidewall. Under no circumstances should you make sharp jerks or apply strong pressure - the fasteners may break. When open, this design takes up a lot of space.
  • Folding
    . An option that is optimal for a hanging TV stand. Here, in addition to standard hinges, side holders are added, equipped with an open position lock. For such a system, it is necessary to have free space in front of the cabinet. After the latch clicks, do not try to immediately pull the sash down - this way you can tear out the holders.
  • Retractable
    . Traditionally, drawers are equipped with this system; when installing it, narrow side guides and small rollers are attached. Items stored inside are protected from dust.
  • Sliding
    . This type of opening system assumes that the sashes are fastened in pairs with hinges and are equipped with an upper guide with a roller carriage. When the doors open, they move sideways, folding like a book. When folded, they protrude somewhat outward. This system is characterized by convenient operation and low noise level.

Photos in the interior

A narrow TV stand is considered a popular solution for storing some things and a decorative decoration for the living room. The depth of a similar design can vary up to 20 to 30 cm, height up to 1.2 m. A variety of materials and internal fillings allow you to choose a bedside table that suits your personal style in the interior.

Hanging white TV stand: subtleties of operation and care

Hanging white TV stand: subtleties of operation and care

Tense workdays often cause a feeling of fatigue, and when they come home, many people want to relax and recover after a day of work. In this sense, a calm interior, made in subdued colors, with light furniture in the rooms, will help you emotionally relax. One of the items of such furnishings is a white TV stand.

In the modern domestic market, such models are in great demand. Despite the fact that they are quite easily soiled, this is not an obstacle for a huge number of consumers who want to purchase such a piece of furniture. What is the reason for such popularity? First of all, this is due to the fact that the appearance of the products can please even a spoiled esthete. They also have high performance properties. The advantages of white glossy hanging TV stands include:

  • environmental friendliness, natural beauty, variety of textures - these advantages are inherent in products made from wood and materials made from recycled wood;
  • elegance and laconicism - white color is luxurious, but not flashy, elegant, looks great as the main color of TV furniture, such a cabinet will become a wonderful component of any interior, decorating it with dignity;
  • The snow-white tone goes well with almost all other colors used to decorate the ceiling, walls or floor; the only thing that absolutely cannot be combined with such furniture is the walls of the same color: this approach will turn the room into a hospital ward.

White TV stand

When planning to purchase a white TV stand for your living room or bedroom, you need to understand how you can play with this color.

  • When pure white is chosen as the main color for furniture, it makes the interior laconic, but at the same time fresh and stylish. It can be combined with other tones: black, red, warm beige, etc. There are many options, and they will all look very harmonious.
  • White furniture will always suit an interior decorated with particular complexity. Let's say for a bedroom you choose wallpaper that is saturated in color with geometric patterns. This pattern can be used as an accent, and the interior itself can be made more restrained. A glossy snow-white TV stand can also serve this purpose.
  • The undoubted advantage of white furniture is its constant demand. The demand for rich, bright colors can fluctuate depending on trends dictated by fashion in the field of interior design, while snow white is always popular. It is able to shade other colors, soften them, make them calmer, “dilute” the mixture of colors, dividing them into zones.
  • Bleached oak cabinets can become a very interesting interior solution thanks to the use of decorative elements. Doors with stained glass, fittings made of ceramics, metal, monograms, rhinestones, carvings, various photo printing - there are many finishing options, and all of them can be applied to white TV stands.

Regular furniture care

Regular care of it significantly extends the life of furniture made of any material. Designers and manufacturers of TV stands recommend when using the following furnishings:

  • do not allow the TV stand to interact with water for a long time if it is made of natural wood, chipboard, MDF, plywood - you should not use excessively wet textiles to wipe such surfaces, otherwise the façade edges may swell and bend;
  • Avoid exposing the white MDF cabinet to sunlight - in this case the surface will overheat, which may cause its top film layer to warp;
  • To clean the stands from dust and dirt, you should use professional products; this will improve the appearance of the furniture, prevent the color from fading or stains from appearing on the white surface - the product is selected depending on the material of the stand (aggressive compounds cannot be used, they can ruin the surface).

Classification

To choose the optimal chest of drawers, you need to take into account certain parameters. The main criteria by which such furniture is distinguished are: size, shape, type of construction. To make a chest of drawers look good in a room, you must also take into account the overall style of the room.

By type of design

A TV chest of drawers is not just a stand for placing equipment, but a piece of furniture that combines different functions. It often acts as an accent, especially if the product has a non-standard design and is made of expensive materials. When choosing such furniture, you should decide in advance what functions will be key. Its main types by type of design:

  1. With drawers. Used to place media equipment and store clothes. You can put souvenirs, dishes, and small items in the drawers. The shelves of such chests of drawers are made of thick panels, so they can withstand heavy loads.
  2. With drawers on top of each other, closing doors. This type of chest of drawers is used to store a variety of accessories: books, albums, small sports equipment. It can accommodate a set-top box, headphones, 3D glasses, and a modem.
  3. With one or more doors. Such furniture is the best option for storing items that should be hidden from prying eyes. You can put hygiene items, medicines, and old furnishings that you would hate to throw away on the shelves.
  4. With open shelves. Usually filled with magazines, newspapers, CDs, and small decor.
  5. Equipped with a special place for a TV. These are convenient designs, most often made in the form of a wall. Such chests of drawers need to be selected for the specific size of TV equipment.

Varieties of white chests of drawers, tips for caring for them
Dressers can be equipped with stationary or adjustable legs. They are often supplemented with wheels, which increases mobility. Doors can be simple, decorated with mirrors or carvings.

The recommended option for a large plasma TV is a low hanging chest of drawers, made in a minimalist style, with doors.

By shape

Just a few years ago, TV chests had a standard rectangular shape. Today, furniture for appliances comes in different variations, differing in size and proportions. The most common models are:

  1. Angular. They have a triangular shape and are located in the corner of the room. Their big advantage is that they save space and rationally use the area of the room. Corner chest of drawers is ideal for small rooms.
  2. Square, rectangular. Such models also remain relevant. More often they are chosen by lovers of classic designs and interiors in the Art Nouveau style. This form is more suitable for spacious rooms.
  3. Semicircular. A distinctive feature of the models is that the outer side has a convex or concave shape, making the edge lines appear smoothed. Radius-type structures look especially interesting. They fit perfectly into both classic and modern interiors, and due to their semicircular shape they make the room safer.

You should choose a shape based on your preferences, style, and area of the room. Some manufacturers make custom-made chests of drawers. Such designs can have any shape, everything depends only on the preferences and wishes of the customer.

To size

There are no specific standards by which the size of furniture for appliances is determined. Dressers are made large and small, narrow and wide. The optimal dimensions are determined individually by each person. If the room allows you to install any structure, you can purchase an average-sized product with the following parameters:

  1. Height – 1300 mm. With this setting, the chest of drawers performs exclusively its immediate function.
  2. Length – 900 mm (for models with one row of drawers) or 1800 mm (if 2 rows are meant). This parameter depends solely on the internal content, the number of shelves and add-ons.
  3. Depth – 400–500 mm. The value changes depending on what drawer guides are installed.

Advantages of chests of drawers with a mirror, photos in the interior, placement nuances

The most common sizes of chests of drawers are: 800 x 1000 x 450 cm, 800 x 1200 x 500 cm, 1300 x 900 x 500 cm. Some models are made with 3 rows of drawers, then their length will be even longer. It is worth considering that this parameter also depends on the diagonal of the TV.

If the room is spacious, it is recommended to choose long models, on which, in addition to the TV, you can place various media accessories.

Criteria for choosing a hanging TV stand

Criteria for choosing a hanging TV stand

Installing wall-mounted TV stands is not easy - there are increased requirements for this process. It is necessary not only to choose a load-bearing wall, but also to take into account the features of the TV. Here is a list of necessary conditions:

  • There should be no windows either on the wall where the TV is located or opposite. This is due to the fact that direct or sliding rays of the sun can spoil the viewing process - illuminated spots will appear on the screen, color rendition will be distorted. This applies to all TVs, excluding only the latest technology - OLED screens. But they must also be concave. If you can’t get away from the windows, then it’s better to purchase thick, light-proof curtains.
  • When you plan to place a TV with a support on the stand, you must correctly measure the hanging height - the center of the screen should be located at least 1.2 m above the floor level. The TV is placed against the wall, not only the center is determined, but also the place where the supporting leg ends. Thus, it becomes clear at what height the cabinet should be suspended. If the screen is fixed on the wall, its upper third should be located at eye level of the person sitting in front of it. The installation height may be slightly lower if we are talking about installation in the bedroom - in this case it should be approximately 1 m. It should be noted that it is not recommended to constantly watch TV in a lying position.
  • TV stand installation height

  • It is necessary to maintain the permissible distance between the TV and an armchair or sofa. The principle of definition is as follows: it should be 3 or 4 screen diagonals. The rules are:

    – diagonal 42 inches – 110 cm;

    – 46 inches – 120 cm;

    – 50 inches – 130 cm;

    – 57 inches – 145 cm,

    – 65 inches – 165 cm;

    – 73 inches – 185 cm.

  • Don't forget about the viewing angle. Among the disadvantages of wall-mounted cabinets is the lack of mobility. To be able to rotate the screen, you should choose TVs with a movable leg. When purchasing a wall bracket, it is also better to give preference to models with the ability to move the screen horizontally or extend it forward. Such fasteners, of course, are more expensive, but your eyesight will be safe.
