The material looks expensive and elegant, stretches well and returns to its original shape. It is convenient to wipe it with a sponge dampened in soapy water. Relax is sometimes called inexpensive velor. It is considered anti-vandal, but its properties are worse.

Faux suede

Base: cotton and polyamide. The pile is made of polyester; there is an adhesive layer between it and the backing. The fabric does not electrify, allows air to pass through, does not lose its shape, and does not fade. The disadvantage of artificial suede is that without Teflon impregnation it has low anti-vandal characteristics. There will be no puffs on it, but particularly persistent pets will tear it apart.

Features of faux suede care: dry cleaning only. You can only get rid of fresh stains on your own. Before cleaning such furniture, it is recommended to carefully study the manufacturer's instructions.

Microfiber

A fabric in which the finest fibers are woven together. Usually polyester or polyamide threads are used. According to the description, furniture microfiber is similar to natural suede. Teflon impregnation makes the fabric wear-resistant, resistant to moisture and dirt.

Scotch guard can be cleaned dry or with soapy water. For purification, monofluorotrichloromethane or ethylene chloride is used.
