I wanted to somehow make something out of pallets, of which I have quite a lot left. It would be a shame to burn or throw away, but I didn’t want to do something completely banal - almost everyone on their property either has something like that, or it just looks ugly. And then I came across a nice chair made from pallets. I really liked the idea and decided to implement it myself. Rate what I did.

First of all, this is the low cost of the source material.

The second reason is environmental friendliness. Pallets are made from natural wood, without the addition of chemical resins, glue, paint, and so on.

In third place is their practicality. Initially, structures were made to accommodate a variety of loads, often very heavy ones. Therefore, they are designed to carry much more weight than all other components of modern furniture. In addition, they do not require special care.

Ease of assembly, accessible to a craftsman with a minimum amount of skills, a huge scope of application, the ability to create furniture at will and in the required color schemes also give construction pallets an excellent reputation.

How to process the material

Shoe racks. Practical and the easiest to make furniture will not take up much space, but will keep the house clean. All you need to do is paint the pallet with multi-colored paints and lean it at an angle against the wall.

How to do it step by step?

Some people think that chairs made from pallets look untidy in the interior. But if you decorate them with decorative pillows or bedspreads, they will bring a special atmosphere of warmth and comfort to the room. The process of manufacturing all the parts and their subsequent assembly is quite simple:

We cut the pallets into two halves . These halves will form the seat and back of the product. And from another pallet we cut off the armrests.
thoroughly clean all elements with sandpaper or a grinder. The surface of the material must be perfectly smooth and without roughness.
Assembly of the structure begins with the base, to which the back is screwed using bolts .
Next, the sidewalls are attached .

Attention : when assembling a chair from pallets, the fastenings must be made reliable; it is not recommended to use glue for these purposes.
