Being at my parents' house, I was always amazed at the clutter of chargers for mobile phones, tablets, players and other things that they use every day.
Well, it’s impossible to find anything, and if it was possible, then a lot of time was spent unraveling this whole tangle and straightening the wire. A familiar picture, isn't it? And to be honest, the picture that I have at home is not much different. No, this can’t go on any longer, I decided, and began to make a small shelf. It was used for scraps from chipboard cutting, which were simply thrown away in sawing shops. Accordingly, the dimensions of the shelf, as well as the color, are also any. Strictly according to your wishes. The only one limitation: the vertical parts of the shelf must be narrower, since they should not fit closely to the wall on which it will hang.

So, in addition to the pieces of wood themselves, we will need: • 12 confirmats (or Eurobolts),

• two narrow canopies, a paper edge (I took seven meters, with a reserve), round stickers on the heads of confirmations (they can also be cut with a cut of the appropriate diameter from the remains of the edge),

• and six self-tapping screws with countersunk heads.

And in order to make our shelf for gadgets, you will need:

• cordless drill-driver, • confirmation drill,
• Phillips and hex bits, as well as a magnetic extension for quick change,

• a felt block and a block with sandpaper (you can get by with a simple soft rag and a piece of fine sandpaper),

• mild furniture knife and awl,

• tape measure, ruler, pencil, • and “his majesty”, heavy iron. Of course, you can take the one that you use regularly for ironing clothes (it still won’t affect it in any way), but the key word “heavy” really means a lot in gluing the edges.

That's it, so let's get started. First, my least favorite procedure: edging parts. As for me, it’s a tiring (no, not because of the weight, just monotonous) activity. But there’s no getting away from it, so we glue it with a hot iron, press it and level the edge with a felt block,

and then cut off the excess. If necessary, we sand the ends with another abrasive stone, although if everything is cut well, then you won’t have to do this. And so - all the details.

Two confirmations on each side, and voila,

the central part in the shape of the letter “H” is ready.

We also screw the lid and the base of the shelf on both sides. All 12 confirmations have been used up.

Now we screw on two canopies,

We seal the heads of the confirmations with decorative circles and erase all the marking lines. Moreover, an ordinary school eraser is best suited for this.

We hang the shelf (two more screws + two plastic dowels in the wall), and the shelf for gadgets is not only ready, but also hangs in its place.

Now comes the fun part. Remember, at the very beginning of the article I wrote that the vertical posts should be a little narrower. So the wires will run behind them, protecting your phone or tablet from falling if you do touch the charger. For the same reason, the shelf does not have a back wall, and the charger itself is not “tightly” attached, but is simply pressed down by the weight of the gadget shelf itself.

And you know, this simple and completely uncomplicated design has been serving very well for several weeks now. Having saved not only a lot of problems, but also twice prevented the fall (read: expensive repairs) of a compact electronic gadget that is so familiar to us in everyday life.

How to make a smartphone stand from paper clips with your own hands

Stands made from paper clips and paper clips

3. Take 6-8 household clothespins. They should be smooth, large, and made of strong material. You'll also need a pencil. Clamp the pencil with clothespins, leaving a small distance in the center equal to approximately half the length of the device. Now place the clothespins with the pencil on the table, with the inner clothespins facing up. They will serve as a phone stand. The remaining clothespins hold the structure in place.
